In this blog post I'm going to discuss my issue with deciding on what kind of blog I want to write about. There are literally so many blogs out there about everything. I share many different interests on a wide variety of topics. Having to limit it down to just one has been proving a little tough. Having to write about the certain subject isn't going to prove an issue. I'm pretty good at summarizing and describing the synopsis on something. I keep trying to think of the things that mean the most or prove most interesting to me.
I feel like if I choose a really good topic I'll be able to write on and on about it. Writing continuously without encountering writer's block is the best and fastest way to get done with your writing. Sadly, I always end up encountering it no matter how hard I try to get my creative process flowing. I'll usually take a break and occupy my time with something else and after a while it'll all come back to me.

Blog Post 7
I'm facing some troubles with thinking about ideas for our new assignment on blogs. Although I typically do pretty well with informative and persuasive writing I'm having a little trouble thinking about how I'll go about it. A blog is someone's own piece of writing that they put out there for the world to see and form their own opinions about. Giving my own interpretation on someone's blog and then trying to persuade other people to read it because of how I felt about it seems a little tough.
Writing a blog on a blog via a blog is already pretty confusing in itself. It could be worse though, informative and persuasive are the easiest for me to write. I'm a pretty convincing person and given a topic that I'm a tad familiar with and I can give a well written and pretty persuasive piece of writing. This class has made me much more familiar with blogs and I think that's going to be a huge advantage in this new project.

Lately I've been having trouble working with the wiki assignment. Reading On Writing isn't the hard part, it's a great book and very informative, but forming a synopsis in my own words has been proving a little tricky. Typically when I try to explain something I'll go on and on giving every little detail there is to know about the subject. That's why I usually have trouble summarizing things and giving a synopsis on it. To work with this I'll take the most key points from sections on the subject and use those to form informative paragraphs.
I also have problems with making myself remember to put myself as working on Trello. I know it should be simple, but I have a bad tendency to forget tiny details. Overall though working with Bryce, Austin, and Christian helps putting everything together. Working with a group helps cover holes that you may have overlooked. I know I mentioned group work as an issue in an earlier blog post, but this class has helped me a lot with that and I feel has made me a better student.

Blog Post 5
Lately I've been stressing myself out by trying to remind myself to check the student schedule everyday. Even though this shouldn't be an issue the thought slips my mind time and time again and I've paid for it. Missing one part to an assignment or overlooking one small detail has cost me not only in a grade, but an absence as well. I know I'm in college now and I'm supposed to take my responsibilities into my own hands, but with everything I have going on right now it gets a little hard sometimes. I'm glad we have a syllabus that we can check at anytime to for warn ourselves from upcoming assignments, but I find it hard to trust in myself to do so.
I think if I keep motivating myself to check it at least once every couple of days I'll be able to start forcing a habit of it. Until then I guess I'll keep skimming by assignments by the skin of my teeth. That's not the way it should be though, I should be eager to check for assignments and complete them. This is my future and my education. I'm going to turn this around and make a lot of changes to my lifestyle that might hinder me from being able to complete my tasks for this class. The funny thing is that I love using the Internet, it comes almost naturally to me. It's just the matter of making myself do it and committing to doing it.
