Lately I've been having trouble working with the wiki assignment. Reading On Writing isn't the hard part, it's a great book and very informative, but forming a synopsis in my own words has been proving a little tricky. Typically when I try to explain something I'll go on and on giving every little detail there is to know about the subject. That's why I usually have trouble summarizing things and giving a synopsis on it. To work with this I'll take the most key points from sections on the subject and use those to form informative paragraphs.
I also have problems with making myself remember to put myself as working on Trello. I know it should be simple, but I have a bad tendency to forget tiny details. Overall though working with Bryce, Austin, and Christian helps putting everything together. Working with a group helps cover holes that you may have overlooked. I know I mentioned group work as an issue in an earlier blog post, but this class has helped me a lot with that and I feel has made me a better student.
I also am having trouble with the synopsis. I can't seem to summarize his words in what I think is professional enough for wikipedia. I really don't know where to start on it. I also dont understand to much of the trello.
ReplyDeleteYeah man I know how you feel about Trello. I have the same problem. I like though that our group we understand each other and communicate with each other. Remember if you ever need help I'm here to help. I know that your group will succeed in the synopsis. I always have time to help.
